Jen Worden has a weekly challenge that she posts, the purpose being to make you do something just outside your personal little box, and try something different.
I'm a bit late for the latest challenge, but I still thought I'd give it a try.
here's the challenge:
The Challenge: Share the View out your window. It can be literal OR it can be figurative...Bonus Points if you include any other colour than white. Any medium. And yes, photos count. But remember this IS supposed to S-T-R-E-T-C-H your artistic abilities.
I decided to make this quickly, so I wouldn't have time to second-guess myself, re-do it fourteen times, then throw it in the trash because it was "crap."
my wonderful Mac has a built in camera, and a thing called "photo booth" - that I've never really played with, except to take a few pictures of Spike when he was tiny.
so, I opened the application, rotated the monitor so it faced out the window behind me, and clicked.
pretty cool!
played with a couple of special effects, and then decided to use one of the writing tools to write a message on the window pane, as if you were writing with your finger in the condensation.
and here it is:

I'm posting this quickly, and going away, as I can feel that old why-did-you-do-THAT-it's-crap sneaking up on me.
have a lovely Friday - better go check the IL theme today, too.
later,
Patty
